1. Increased Production to Meet Demand
The busiest time of the year calls for more pallets than other seasons. To meet the widespread increase in the demand for quality pallets, we’ve increased production throughout all our facilities. Pallet Consultants has been planning for the holiday season by hiring and training additional team members and allocating extra pallet construction equipment to our warehouses.
Our well-trained teams can build any pallet in large volume. New, recycled, combo, remanufactured and custom pallets are all products we produce to exacting dimensions with performance guarantees. We’ll always have production numbers high enough to satisfy any of your pallet orders.
2. Unmatched Pallet Quality Standards
Broken pallets are always inconvenient, potentially dangerous and a risk to your products. These negatives are only made worse during the end of year rush, which is why we ensure our pallets are going to exceed your expectations.
Throughout our facilities we have automated barcode scanning systems that keep track of every pallet. As people on our teams construct pallets, they attach a customized barcode to the side. This barcode tells us what kind of pallet it is, the pallet grade if it’s recycled and who produced the pallet. Pallets don’t get lost or mixed up in our system, and people on the construction line put their name on their work through their barcodes. This means that our trained teams are accountable and have proof of their quality work. Having oversight into the construction process allows us to keep quality high and our products consistent.
Additionally, we have multiple people verify pallet quality as the products are build and prepared for delivery. The pallets are initially verified by the person who constructs them, followed by a minder who double-checks that all pallets being produced are of the quality the barcode represents, and finally by the forklift driver who visually inspects all pallets during loading.
3. Extra Inventory Kept on Hand
As part of our production increase, we’re also keeping extra inventory on hand. Not only will we have large volumes of pallets continually being manufactured, we’ll also have spare stocks in our inventory for those last-minute orders and emergency deliveries. Common pallet sizes are guaranteed to be in stock, and custom and niche pallet sizes can also be produced and kept on hand by request.
4. Excess Pallet Retrieval After Holidays
Once the rush is done, you’ll likely be left with an inventory of spare pallets. Whether you want them sorted and repaired or simply picked up and taken out of your facility, we’ve got you covered. With our large private fleet we can remove your excess pallets quickly and efficiently. Start the New Year on the right foot by clearing idle pallets and making room for new equipment and revenue-generating tasks.
5. Last-Minute Order Fulfillment
We understand it’s an emergency when you run short on pallets. That’s why we prioritize last-minute order fulfillment. Guaranteed delivery within 24 hours and in some cases fulfillment can be as fast as that same day. Our large private fleet, high production, extra inventory on hand and trusted brokerage partners mean we can supply pallets around the nation at a moment’s notice.
6. Just-In-Time Delivery
Your facility is going to be bustling during the holiday season and there are situations where only a just-in-time delivery will work. All our tractor and trailers are equipped with advance GPS units that give us precise, real-time data. This allows us to schedule and deliver orders at precise times, giving you the confidence and flexibility to optimize your logistics.
7. Extra Equipment for Pallet Pickups and Deliveries
Pallet Consultants has a private fleet of more than 500 tractors and trailers. To comfortably address the needs of our customers, we’ve acquired additional assets to facilitate even more convenient pickup and deliveries. This equipment is especially useful for facilities that prefer to use drop trailers for their pallets, as we can now handle more loads simultaneously and leave equipment at facilities for longer periods of time. The increased capacity allows for multiple daily pallet retrievals and deliveries.
8. Custom Crates
Crates are best for lower-cost products or merchandise that need a light and moderately protective container. We produce them in a variety of sizes and construction types for multiple use cases. They’re ideal for one-way logistics situations as they are often opened with a crowbar. Crates are best for merchandise only needing cushion from impacts, like tiles or bicycles.
Crates are lightweight, offer more protection than pallets, can be custom engineered and are very cost-effective. Crates are a reasonably priced option when compared to pallets and other packaging options. They’re also lightweight, meaning transportation and storage is easy. Crates give their contents more protection than open-faced pallets and can be engineered for specific applications.
9. After-Holiday Planning
After being in the pallet industry for over 20 years, we know the work doesn’t stop once the New Year comes. With so much focus on the holiday rush, it can be easy to forget to properly prepare for the continuation of work in January. Between changes in demand, personnel vacations and other factors there’s usually an increase in last-minute orders. We understand and plan for these events and keep our inventory and production high well into the next year.
10. Combo and Recycled Pallet Cost Savings
Large volume pallet orders can get expensive, and the costs can impact bottom lines and cash flow. For cost savings without any sacrifices, we offer high quality recycled, combo and remanufactured pallets. These pallets go through the same quality control as our new pallets and are guaranteed to perform as needed, but at a fraction of the cost. Our recycled pallets come in multiple grades so you know exactly what you’re getting, and combo and remanufactured pallets are dimensionally accurate for use in automated facilities.
